I have had a battle with many pans in the past and I’m always looking for something that doesn’t stick, chip or burn me! The 10″ Stainless Steel Earth Pan by Ozeri looked like a good one to try so I figured I’d give it a shot!
The main issue I’ve had with pans in the past is everything sticks to them! Even the so called non stick ones would have food stuck to them where I was left really scrubbing aftera long soaking to get the food off.
The first time I used it I made pancakes for breakfast and after cooking, there was very little residue left on the pan. It basically rinsed off with cold water before I even added soap or hot water. I knew at that point I had a keeper! I did notice my pancakes cooked faster than usual so I had to adjust a bit but that’s just something to get used to with any new pan.
I also noticed while cooking that while the handle got a little warm, it did not get hot enough to burn me. That is a must have in a pan since I have small kids in the house and sometimes I’ve grabbed a pan without thinking and burned my hand on the handle.
The next time I used the pan I made hamburger helper for the kids. This is something I’ve always had trouble cleaning off after. It never fails to leave a sticky mess and the pan I had been using would have it caked on the bottom. I walked away from the kitchen and it started to burn but even after most pans would have burned it to a crisp, there was barely anything left when I took it out of the pan.
The 10″ Stainless Steel Earth Pan by Ozeri is clearly a high quality pan and I loved the way that it cooked my food without burning it, even when I walked away and forgot about it! I have a new favorite pan!
